YHC volunteered for the Conjunction Junction assignment as part of the Briar Chapel Takeover because it seemed like a great opportunity to visit an AO for the first time. Recon was necessary, so YHC arrived 15 minutes early to scope out the facilities. It turns out 15 minutes was insufficient. This AO appeared to be a labyrinth shrouded in darkness. There were seemingly endless ramps, stairs, and dead ends — and did YHC mention it was pitch black? Nonetheless, an ambitious sampling of BC classics was finalized and a total of seven PAX convened to get it done.

The Churham region has expanded so much in the last four years. There are too many sites and too many PAX to cross paths with everyone in the gloom. Extra efforts need to be made to maintain the connections throughout the region. Hopefully today’s Briar Chapel Takeover — PAX from BC Q’ing all the sites — made a positive impact on those connections. The BC guys are proud to be a part of Churham. Thanks to the ‘Junction for having YHC. The effort and fitness level of the group was impressive.
