WARMUP

MAIN EVENT

With YHC’s intention to hit up an early voting site this morning (a quick and easy process, by the way), and the goal of embracing the pouring rain, the plan was traveling presidential trivia. During stops amid a jog throughout the neighborhood, the QIC asked the question, and once the first answer was shouted, the remainder of the PAX had to choose sides depending on whether they thought the answerer was right or wrong. The right group planks, the wrong group does five burpees.

Here were the questions (answers below) …

  1. Which presidents signed the Constitution?
  2. Which two presidents both died on the 50th anniversary of the approval of the Declaration of Independence?
  3. Who was the first president to be born a U.S. citizen?
  4. Which president is the subject of the earliest existing photograph in office?
  5. What president had a bullet lodged in his chest for the duration of his term?
  6. Who was the first president to ride in a car?
  7. Who had the shortest presidential term?
  8. Who was the first president to appear on a TV broadcast?
  9. What does Harry Truman’s middle initial S. stand for?
  10. Who was the first president to debate on live television?
  11. Who was the first president to have been a Boy Scout?
  12. Which president won a Grammy?

(Answers: 1-Washington & Madison, 2-Adams & Jefferson, 3-Van Buren, 4-Polk, 5-Jackson, 6-TRoosevelt, 7-WHarrison, 8-FRoosevelt, 9-Nothing, 10-Kennedy, 11-Kennedy, 12-Obama)

With time to spare, the PAX hit the tennis courts for suicides: sprints, bear crawl, backwards sprint

Mary consisted of WWIIs and Hand Release Merkins, making sure no dry spots remained on the PAX

COT
