Friday the 13th!

Humid 72 degree morning. YHC arrived at 0510 to set-up the AO.  Four dozen flicking candles, plastic carcasses, dozen plastic body parts, knives / Jason mask, buckets of plastic bones, bluetooth speaker – now we are ready for a Friday the 13th Q.

 

Warm-up

SSH, Squats, Imperial Walkers, Merkins, Arm Circles  x 20

 

The Thang

Mosey to the rock circle, encircled in a dozen lights (one on every other rock).

Thang #1:

Move sideways using plank-walk from light to light, perform three strangle merkins (similar to a diamond merkin) at each light.  Then repeat-o in reverse.

To rest our arms and chest, we switched to six rounds of AMRAP skull crushers.

Exit the rock circle to the running path which is illuminated by three dozen lights (about 20 meters apart).  The path forms a circle around the playground.

Thang #2:

Pax must move through the path using bear crawl between at least four sections of lights – otherwise they may run.  Meanwhile, three Pax are “Jason’s” and have body parts that they drop on another pax.  If you get hit by a body part, then you must perform 5 burpees, pickup the body part, and then become a “Jason” to chase after other pax.  Pax were required to only move in a counter-clockwise direction (both “Jasons” and other pax).  After making sure everyone

Thang #3:

Split into two teams. Both teams start at the center line in the roller hockey rink.  Teams must sprint down to their side to find a body part or bone.  Perform 10 LBCs, then grab bone/body part then sprint back to center line.  Repeat until all body parts/bones are returned.

Pax participated in two rounds of the bone fetch game.
