*singing* there will be peace when you are doooooone…

YHC jumped on top of another opportunity to Q Devil’s Ridge. YHC’s shoulders have been lacking in volume in recent weeks, and has also been looking to make new friends. So, YHC decided to kill 2 birds with one thrashing of a workout.

Warmup:

  • 15x SSH
  • 10x WMH
  • 4x sets of alternating between 5x single-count merkins and 5x cadence-count mountain climbers

The Thang:

  • 2x sets of 10x derkins, erkins, and dips to really get in the spirit of things.
  • Mosey to loop by football stadium. Partner wheelbarrow down the sidewalk to the bridge, do 10 monkey humpers if you want to switch. Stop underneath the bridge.
  • Crawlbears uphill on the back end of the loop. On record, the PAX asked if I was sure about this. I was at the time. At the time of this writing, I’m not so sure…
  • Mosey to the stairs towards the front of the stadium, for partner wheelbarrow up the stairs. The twist: do a merkin on each stair. Tugboat noted that the hardest part was the straightaway on the stairs, YHC is inclined to agree. T-claps to Dial-up, Weenie, and any other crazies that managed to jump straight from the pushup onto the next step.
  • Found some stair for a quick Johnny Drama Circuit (15x cadence count JD, 15x single count Johnnys, 15x single count Dramas, 15x cadence count JD)
  • Mosey to the wall at the track:
    • 3x sets of 15x perkins (credit for exercise goes to @soybean)
    • 10x RoF People’s Chair
    • 10x Howler Monkeys
  • Mosey back to AO for Mary

Mary was mercifully swift: 15x Freddie Mercuries, 15x Flying V’s, 30x Flutterkicks

CoT and Announcements:

  • Anyone with contacts in Kansas can get in touch with Blistex, looking to start some sites out there.
  • Welcome FNG Wayward Son!
  • Prayers for Tugboat’s father, undergoing surgery soon for prostate cancer.
