Blame the Lions

The Panthers and Cam Newton carved up the Lions D and secondary with ease on Sunday.  YHC was inspired.

WARM-UP –

Mosey to the traffic circle.  SSH x 20, Imperial Walkers x 10, Good Mornings x 10, Arm Circles (Forward and Reverse) x 10, WMH x 10

THE THANG –

Mosey to the soccer field.  The day before, the Carolina Panthers put away the Detroit Lions and impressively put up 362 yds in total offense.  To properly celebrate Carolina’s victory, YHC turned the 362 yds into 362 reps.  The PAX were given three stations: (i) Pull-Ups; (ii) Merkins; and (iii) Air-Squats.  The PAX were instructed that they could complete the 362 reps in any order they preferred, the only restriction being one could not do more than 50 reps of one exercise at a time.  The PAX settled into a regular rotation of 10 Pull-Ups, 20 Merkins, and 30 Air Squats.  When the PAX completed the 362, they hustled to the nearest wall and performed 30 seconds of BTTW.  The PAX all worked together to push and complete the reps in a timely fashion.

Out of breath, the PAX relaxed with a 30 second People’s Chair.

PAX circled up in the picnic area and performed a ring of fire.  Starting in plank, the PAX completed 4 exercises: (i) Carolina Dry-docks x 10; (ii) Peter Parkers x 10; (iii) Merkins x 10 (slow count); and (iv) Parker Peters x 10.

Remaining in the plank position, the PAX did some clockwork.  YHC called out different times on a clock face.  Starting at 12 and moving clockwise, YHC called out 3, 6, 9, and 12, the PAX moved along the clock while remaining in plank.  The PAX then moved counterclockwise along the clock, 9, 6, 3, back to 6, 9, and 12.
