Warmarama served multiple purposes this morning. In addition to get us warm, we used it to review proper form and the 5 things required of a F3 beat down. 10 penalty burpees were issued each time we got one wrong. For the record the before mentioned requirements are:
1. Free of Charge
2. Open to All Men
3. Always Outdoors
4. Peer Led (in a rotating fashion)
5. Ends in a COT
Warm Up
SSH while naming the requirements. Merkins and Squats in tempo. Proper form was demonstrated, if not executed.
What Had Happened
Lined up at the furthest median. Bear crawled to the next with an increasing count of Jackass Merkins at each parking spot. Continued with a Lunge Walk with an increasing count Monkey Humpers at each spot. Continued on with traveling Burpees to the final median.
Turned 180, Inchworm Burpees to the next median. Crab Walk with an increasing count of Crab Humpers to the next median. Bunny Hop with an increasing count Bobby Hurley.
It’s worth noting that we picked up the 6 at each median. Not just because that’s what we should do, but because that helps encourage form. Those who do half reps for the sake of speed are rewarded by more reps.
