YHC came flying down Mangum trying to get to the AO before 0530. Magellan was standing on the street corner pointing at his watch. Never good a thing when someone with punctuality issues is calling you out. YHC was greeted by a large group of men at the flagpole who were ready to help YHC celebrate his 4 year anniversary of F3. 20 PAX in all for Halloween Eve.

Warm-Up (exercises in cadence)

  • SSH x25
  • Imperial Walkers x10
  • Merkins x10
  • Mountain climbers x10
  • Plank Jacks x10

Paula Abdul

YHC led the crew from City Hall to the parking lot on Morgan St. adjacent to the Durham Armory (where YHC got married). Here the PAX completed a Paula Abdul across the parking lot.

  • Crawl bear one space backwards and complete 5 merkins
  • Rinse and repeat until you make it across the parking lot.

World’s Worst Pub Crawl

We then moseyed down Rigsbee to Motorco. We did a modified version of YHC’s infamous Island Hopping Q at HoP. PAX had to complete 10 burpees out in front of Surf Club, Gear Street Garden, Hutchin’s Garage, and Boxcar. PAX had to go to one destination perform 10 burpees and then return to Motorco to complete 20 dips and 10 Australian pull ups before heading to their next destination.

YHC led the crew back to City Hall in time for a few exercises.

Mary:

  • Box Cutters x20
  • Hello Dolly x20

COT:

Four years have gone by in a flash. Before starting F3, I was 187 pounds and single. I had never run more than 6.2 miles at one time, and spent every night playing Call of Duty online. In the past four years I participated in events that I never dreamed of doing. I completed 3 GoRuck events, 9 Spartan Races, 3 Blue Ridge Relays, 1 Ragnar, 2 ultra marathons, and a multitude of other races. My fellow PAX have encouraged me and pushed me along the way. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Thank you. I’m proud to call you all my friends and my brothers.
