The BC neighborhood keeps growing, which means there are always new construction sites to explore. This morning’s QIC at The Wall took full advantage of a new undeveloped region, and did so in creative fashion, sending the PAX into their weekend in a cloud of dust – literally.

THE THANG

A long mosey took the PAX to the newest section in BC. At the circle, they ran the loop, but at each manhole cover they were ordered to stop and complete 5 Carolina Dry Docks, 10 squats, and 15 LBC.

Once completed, they were directed to mosey to a pile of cinderblocks and grab one. At the bottom of the hill the PAX were introduced to the Bear Block, which they executed until they reached the top of the hill. What is the Bear Block, you ask? Let’s consult the Exicon: “Get on all fours (like you are doing a bear crawl) with your Cinder Block on the ground between your knees or feet. Reach between your legs and pull the Block across the ground past your head. Now, bear crawl forward until the Block is between your feet again, and keep repeating.”

After reaching the top of the hill, the PAX that looked behind them saw the zig-zag trails in the asphalt, shards of cinderblock that were lost along the way, a cloud of block dust that was slowly rising to the heavens — and a QIC telling them to stop reminiscing and to get busy with 20 arm curls with what’s left of their cinderblocks.

The blocks were returned and the PAX moseyed toward the AO. There was a brief stop at The Wall to complete passing a rock back and forth four times while in People’s Chair. Then came Mary, for which there was only time for 20 Flutter Kicks.
