Friday the 13th!


YHC arrived at 0510 to set-up the AO with the help of Count Chocula. 13 x 2 flicking candles, plastic carcasses, dozen plastic body parts, knives / Jason mask, buckets of plastic bones – ready for a Friday the 13th Q.

 

Warm-up

SSH, Squats, Imperial Walkers, Merkins, Arm Circles  x 20

 

The Thang

Mosey to Spooky’s car to collect heavy carcasses and half-torsos, plus butcher knives.  Every pax carried something.  Stop at every street corner  (plus a stop at Weaver Street Market) to perform:

Sprint 100m with carcass

Overhead press with half-torso

Slice and Dice “Hammers” with Butcher Knife

(Rotate through all three stations at every stop)

Repeat until we had stopped four times.  Then continue run with objects to the bike path.  Put down objects at the start of the path.

Thang #2

Sprint the path with two burpees at every flickering light.  13 sets of lights on the entire path.

Repeat-o in reverse to get back to where we started. Pickup objects and mosey to the parking lot.

Thang #3

Split into two teams.  Teams must sprint down and find a body part or bone.  Perform 5 burpees for a body part or 5 merkins for a bone, then grab bone/body part then sprint back to center line.  Repeat until all body parts/bones are returned.  Two points for every body part and one point for each bone.  Congrats to team #1 on the victory.
