Things I Hate

November 22, 2019

WHEN: 11/22/2019
QIC: Splashback
PAX: Mothman, Jinx, Paper Jam, Dive, kosher

One of the things I really like about F3 is the variety of workouts we encounter out here day to day. In my limited time with everyone I have started to notice some patterns – unsurprisingly I think that we all tend to Q to our own strengths. With that in mind – today I’ve decided to instead Q to my weaknesses – the things that I’m the worst at. Welcome to 4 Thang’s I really hate:

Warmup:

-SSH x 20

-Slow merkin x 10

-Hillbilly x 10

-Chinook x 20

The Thang 1 – I Hate Bear Crawl/Merkin Combinations

All PAX line up on one curb, bear crawl across to curb opposite – hands onto curb – execute 1 Irkin. Crawl Bear Back to start and execute 2 Derkin. Continue back and forth bear Crawl/Crawl Bear increasing Irkin/Derkin count to 12.

The Thang 2 – I Hate Bernie Sanders

Partner up. P1 holds reverse plank while P2 Lunge walk to first island/Bernie Sanders back. Flapjack and repeat.

All PAX then Bernie Sanders the full length of the parking lot and AYG back.

The Thang 3 – I Hate Burpie Broad Jumps

All PAX line up on left side of parking lot. Cross via the Burpie Broad Jump. 10 count then return.

The Thang 4 – I Really, Really Hate Bear crawling on stairs.

Re-Partner up. P1 LBCs while P2 Bear crawls up and down the stairs. Flapjack and repeat.

The Thang 5 – A little help from my PAX

The above went faster than I’d expected so I asked the PAX for some things they hate. We completed1 round each of:

-Partner Wheelbarrows

-Bear Crawl Parking Space Paula Abduls with Merkins

-Crab Walk Parking Space Paula Abduls

-Suicide Sprints

Mary:

-Box Cutters x 20

COT:

I know when I work out alone I tend to gravitate towards the things I’m better at and avoid/talk myself out of the things that make me more uncomfortable – but those are exactly the things I need to spend more time on. Kinda goes along with one of my favorite quotes – when faced with a difficult decision – the harder thing to do and the right thing to do are usually the same thing. Until Next Time – Aye.
