The Trail Life

May 26, 2018

WHEN: 05/26/2018
QIC: RG3
PAX: John Boy, Grunge, Germ, RG3, Toby the Dog, Boomer the Dog

4 PAX and 2 canines gathered at the AO to start the Memorial Day Weekend right. I recycled parts of the Pathfinder Mountain Ruck for today’s event and we stayed on trails for the duration.  It offered some nice elevation (at least for this area).

COT

Rucking provides plenty of fellowship and opportunities for the PAX to discuss both the inane and the important in life. Today we talked about the trap of if only thinking. In other words, thinking that your life would be better if only you had a new boat or a new car, or a place at the beach, and so on.  Today I ask everyone to be thankful for what you have and to remember that joy and happiness really rests in the relationships we have with each other, our family, our friends, and others who cross our paths everyday.  Have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend!
