Ten men braved power outages, fallen tree limbs, and school cancelations to post at The Westend. We began our journey down streets without lights. We looked up and down streets. Looked ’em over with care. About Weaver Street we said, “We don’t choose to go there.” With our head full of brains and our shoes full of feet, we were too smart to go down any not-so-good street. It was back to the well-lit parking garage for us!

Our workout somehow transcended time. I had to tell one pax, let’s call him Whitesquare, to come back half at only the halfway mark. We got back to the start with 16 minutes to spare. It honestly felt like this Q would never end. Now that I think about it, I don’t recall a single 10 count in 61 minutes of work. I guess 10 strong men can accomplish lots of things when they push it non-stop!

ME

Mosey around to the back entrance of our beloved garage. Partner one does overhead clap while in low squat hold with the other does 50 plank jacks. Flip Flop.

Climb stairs to the top for Burpback Mountain: one backpedals up the hill and runs down while the other does burpees; 100 combined. LBC til all in.

One partner does low squat hold while the other lunges 3 spots up the slope. Lunger start low squat hold while other lunges to catch up. 30SSH to shake out the legs.

Partner one planks while the other bear crawls 3 spots down the slope than planks. Partner one bear crawls to catch up. Repeat to the bottom.

Merkin wave of fire. Pax hold plank then sequentially bang out 1 merkins, then, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Run to the bottom of the garage. Squat wave of fire. Pax low squat hold then sequentially bang out 1 squat, then, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Double time back to the start where we completed a ladder, AKA lucky elevens, merkins and squats with bear crawl and crawl bear as transpo.
