Just as I thought I would be doing a solo ME, Pellgrant came to the rescue. My M is 10 days from her due date, so in that spirt, the theme of the workout today was “The Final Countdown”
Warmup:
Lap around the peanut
10x SSH
10x good mornings
8x Willie Mays Hayes
20x arm circles
The Thang:
All exercises were done to a rep count of 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 for a total of 55 reps. Rest in between counts was kept to about 3 seconds. At the rock pile we completed: merkins, curls, overhead press, bent over rows, lung jumps. Mosey to the cars where the phone was cued up for “The final countdown” by Europe. An awesome 80’s rock song with a lot of effort put into the instrumentals, but not so much into the lyrics. As a warm up for the song we did a final countdown set of bottom half of the burpee. For the song we alternated SSH and plank jacks, with burpees ever time “countdown” was used. Mosey to the wall for more countdown sets of toe taps, dips, one legged squats and peoples chair.

COT: Prayers for Cardiac and family with new baby on the way. Prayers for Cardiac’s brothers who lost a close friend while doing an adventure race together last weekend.
