Ever inspired by Coco, YHC noticed a simple Q by Coco the previous Friday @#westend: 5 Burpees Every Minute on the Minute. Simple and efficient, YHC wanted to bring the fun to the Northern Province,
6 PAX arrived in the humid gloom and got to work.
WARM-UP:
Finkelswings – 10 per leg w/ CC
LBACs – 10 forward w/ CC and 10 backward w/ CC
Chest Stretch – grabbed some parking deck wall, right hand on wall, stretch right chest w/ 10 count, switch to left side w/ 10 count
WMHs – 10 total, with slow CC
THE THANG:
Inspired by Coco’s love of Burpees, the PAX took off for a 30 minute trek through Hillsborough neighborhoods while completing 5 Burpees EMOM for a total of 150 Burpees.
Great push and unity by the PAX.
MARY:
Arriving back to the parking deck, each PAX was given the pleasure of leading MARY for 1 minute each.
YHC – 1 minute of Burpees
Cortes – 1 minute of Plank Ring of Fire with Monkey Jumps x 5
Milton – 1 minute of Boat Canoes (wow!)
Pusher – 1 minute of Flutter Kicks
Virgo – 1 minute of something that was hard…can’t remember right now
Toast McQueen – 1 minute of side crunches (30 seconds, lay on right side – left elbow to left knee, 30 seconds, lay on left side – right elbow to right knee)
COT:
Announcements – Uncle Possum on 08/11 and 2ndF @ Mystery Brewery on 8/15 @ 8 pm
Prayers: For all those PAX traveling to and from the Northern Province, to Milton’s M as she deals with closing a difficult estate, and to those PAX completing the Uncle Possum
