YHC is grateful for F3, grateful for the F3 community, and grateful to Q his first workout. He’s also a casual Deadhead — hence the title of this workout. YHC lives in Forest Hills and The Big Dance is his home turf — so he was eager to bring the pain. YHC devised a brisk workout, loosely inspired by the Dead.

Short mosey through the morning dew into the bowels of Forest Hills Park, over the bridge, to the bare spot in the dark.
First Activity — Morning Dew
- 25 Merkins
- Bear crawl to dead tree (that you couldn’t see until you were close because it was so dark)
- 15 Burpees
- Run back
- Repeat
Mosey past the huge magnolia tree, around the bend to the big meadow.
Second Activity — Dark Star
- 30 Jump Squats
- Bunny hops to the bench (that you also couldn’t see, Weenie Roast gets EC for hopping past)
- 30 Jump Lunges
- Run back
- Repeat
Mosey from the meadow to the new bench/pergola at the end of the park.

Mosey from the bench to the top of Murder Hill — named because it is a beast to run and because the infamous Peterson murder happened in the mansion at the top of the hill. A clever PAX suggested that it be renamed Dire Wolf Hill (Please don’t murder me…). Morbid, but also thematically perfect.
Fourth Activity — Dire Wolf
- Plank hold while the 6 scurried up up Dire Wolf Hill.
