What is true in finance is true with the rest of life, doing small, positive things add up, compound, and grow over time. These are the small victories that, day after day, add up to make us better. It is rarely the uppercut punch that enables our progress; rather, that is the punch that only rarely saves us from failure. You can”t just magically “get your act together.” The aggregate of tiny, small steps each day have taken you where you are now, and while each small step does not add up to much unto itself, it is the cumulative effect over time that matters. It can be hard to get pumped up for taking a small step, but we need to remind ourselves that these steps are the ones that will eventually enable us to leap and bound.
These are the trenches where battles are often won and more often lost, but they are also the ground where the wars are won. 6 PAX showed up to win the war today.
