While the Olympians this year have nothing but each other to help motivate, cheer, and provide an occasional push; the PAX of F3 are very accustomed to this format. Such was the case on this unseasonably cool August morning.

Chinooks x 15 each way
SSH x 20
Harvester x 10

Appetizer…
Pax rolled through the menacing streets of Herndon Park over to the workout park.
10 Chin-ups
15 Inverted Rows
20 Dips
Main Course…
Moseyed over to the rock pile, grabbed one, then met on the soccer field where we divided up into two teams. It was a good old fashioned, progressive, medley. First PAX, with rock, ran to the near corner and did 10 burpees, then head to midfield and did 15 tri-extensions with the rock, then head to far corner and did 20 Carolina drydock, put the rock in the goal and sprinted back to the group. Each PAX took a turn until all rocks were deposited into the goal. We had time for two races and both teams took one race, and were forced to split the gold…for the moment. This did not sit well with YHC so later in the day I posted a trivia question on Slack to decide a winner. Heavy metal enthusiast @Bellhop quickly responded correctly and thus the score was settled.

Awesome Baby reminded us that Romperoom was back on, Max Power announced his VQ this Saturday at TBL. Count Chocula updated us on the miraculous progress of his father as he continues to recover from a serious health event. It reminded YHC to give thanks for all strength and energy we need to take care of and to watch over our parents. Deep breath…AMEN!
