YHC had creatively dubbed this workout A Not Insignificant Amount Of Running And Also Some Other Stuff, so felt duty-bound to deliver.

Warm-Up

• Deconstructed ladder jack:
  • SSH X 15
  • Piranha Jacks (like a seal Jack but arms in up-and-down chomp motion) X 10 each side
  • Smurf Jacks X 15
  • Plank Jacks X 15
• Slow Merkins X 10
• Willie Mays Hayes X 10
• Good morning X 10
• Warm-up lap around half the almond

Thang

The side parking lot at The Piranha lends itself perfectly to sevens, 11s and what not.

• Started with just a round of Fives: One burpee, run to third light at end of parking lot, four double merkin burpees, run back for two burpees, and so on.
• Sevens – Jump lunges, run to second light for dry docks, backwards run back, 1-6, 2-5, 3-4, etc.
• 11s – WWII, bear crawl to first light for 10 Merkins, crawlbear back, 2 WWIIs, back for 9 Merkins, etc. Cut this one a little short for time and general agony. (This was supposed to just be more running, but audibled to bear crawls.)
• Another round of sevens to second light – Jump lunge and dry docks

Mary

• Kept running through Mary – SO to Brick who suggested the PAX stick together for this bit
• LBCs X 20 – run to other end of parking lot
• Captain Thor – 1 big boy sit up to 4 American Hammers X til YHC got tired – run back
• Line of Fire – 10 count of planks, 5 count of right arm high, 5 count of left arm high – run back
• Hello Dolly – X 20 IC – run back
• Five burpees OYO – run back
• Heels to Heaven – X 20 IC – AYG back

• OPEC mentioned that the first RTP 2nd F lunch meeting will be tomorrow at Page Road Grill. Follow the #rtp2ndf channel on Slack for details.
• FNG Bellhop so named as he is the general manager of the AC Hotel in downtown Chapel Hill. He has bad memories of the Wofford victory celebration last year after their upset win over UNC. Revenge tonight!
• Name-o-Rama revealed that Awesome Baby just hit the big 4-0.
• Prayers for WeedNFeed’s son, who has been battling a GI bug for going on two weeks now.
• Speedy OPEC and Bellhop got to the Parkwood Fire Station fast to exercise their civic duty. WeedNFeed and I went at a fellowship pace (OK, we walked) to swap life stories and talk a little religion and politics.
