5 brave souls answered the sweet siren call of Lone Pine and 14 PAX reported for the ME.

YHC used a little crowd sourcing to plan today’s beatdown.  Tip of the cap to both Bell’s and Soybean for the inspiration.  Remember kids, always cite your sources.

Warm-up

SSH x 20 (IC)

Slow Squats x 10 (IC)

LBAC x 15 (IC)

Reverse x 10 (IC)

Slow Merkin x 10 (IC)

PAX counted off by 4’s and grouped up in a designated parking spot with their team for Round Robin Dora.  Each team got a chance to compete head to head with the other 3 teams in battle of strength and speed – just like the group play round in the World Cup.  Winning team of each match-up got to choose reward for themselves / punishment for team they beat.

1st round – team must compete a total of 300-400 Bobby Hurley’s (300 if team of 3, 400 if team of 4)

While one or two team members run up the entrance road to stop sign and back, other one to two team members perform exercise.  When team members return, flap jack, exercisers run and runners exercises, until team reaches aggregate goal.  Round is not complete until total is met and all team members are back in parking spot in plank position.

Winners choose between 20 burpees and a sprint up THWM.  Both winning teams chose the burpees and losers got a full mountain sprint.

2nd round – Switch up the team match-ups and each team must complete 75-100 World’s Toughest Merkin: Wide Grip, Standard, and Diamond in succession count as 1.

2 winning teams again chose burpees, so another round up THWM for the 2 losing teams.

Final round – Switch up the team match-ups and each team must complete 75-100 8 count body builders.
