Soybean was scheduled to be our Q this morning, but a knee issue forced him to the sidelines. YHC gladly volunteered to take the Q. We had several PAX go out for a ruck and a pair for an EC run. YHC fartsacked the EC as he was still dealing with some side effects from heat exhaustion over the weekend. Fair warning, YHC is writing this two weeks after the workout, so some details are a bit hazy. I know we definitely had a FNG (Pig Whistle).
Warm-Up: All in Cadence
There definitely was a warm-up. Probably some side shuffle hop to start and other things.
The Thang:
YHC decided to kill the PAX early by pulling out the Paula Abdul. This exercise has been a staple of YHC’s Qs throughout the years. PAX bear crawl two parking spaces forward, perform 5 merkins, crawl bear back one space, perform 5 merkins, and continue the pattern until they have made it to the speed bump in the parking lot.
Shoulders and legs were pretty smoked at this point. YHC then lead the PAX across the street into Croasdale Farm and down the BFH.
From here we did a hill suicide utilizing some ratio reasoning. PAX would run to the first light pole and perform 1 burpee, 2 merkins, and 3 squats. PAX had to tag up at the bottom and then make their way to the second light pole to do 2 burpees, 4 merkins, and 6 squats. YHC had the PAX continue this all the way to the fifth light pole where they performed 5 burpees, 10 merkins, and 15 squats.
PAX that finished early picked up the 6, and then we did some recovery side shuffle hops. Our time was coming to a close, so naturally we did an AYG sprint to the top of the hill. After collecting the six again, we moseyed back to startex.
