Announcements:

In a season full of monotony where every day feels the same, this low grade hum of stress and uncertainty can be pretty destructive to our emotional health.  We need some initiative and creativity to offer ourselves some rest.   I’ve noticed I can be in the room and not be present and my family knows it.  So I’ve been trying to create some space between my phone and me on weekends.  No social media, no mindless scrolling.   It’s possible to be connected and not tied down to a device.  Be safe, be present.

Here is a helpful resource that has helped me think about technology and my family.  It’s not just about creating the space, but filling that space with restorative activity: Tech-wise Family by Andy Crouch
