No better way to start a football Saturday in October than at TBR
WARM-UP –
SSH x 20, Imperial Walkers x 10, Good Mornings x 10, Arm Circles (Forward and Reverse) x 10
THE THANG –
7 PAX took off for The Forest Theatre…great theatrics were had. Mosey to the bottom, Box Jumps x 20 and Urkins x 20 (3 sets). Lunge walk up the stairs to get out. At the top of the stairs BTTW with Derkins x 10, 10 count hold BTTW after Derkins.
Mosey to the Old Well. While we traveled, stopped to relax, i.e. Alternating Step-Ups x 20 and Carolina Dry Docks x 10.
Finally arrived at the Old Well. Circle up for some fire. Each PAX starts in plank. Each PAX has one exercise to call out: Merkins x 10 or Peter Parkers x 10. Alternate each exercise. PAX performed 40 merkins and 30 Peter Parkers. YHC preferred 50 over 40, thus the PAX performed an additional 10 merkins utilizing a slow count. Halfway done.
Mosey to the Armory. PAX split into 3 groups: (i) Tire Flips x 3; (ii) Pull-Ups x 10; (iii) Dips x 15 (3 sets). Backs, arms, and minds expended, PAX mosey home.
YHC loves College Football Saturdays and therefore brought a football for a final exercise. The Game: One PAX runs 20 yards or more, another PAX throws a bullet, completed pass = 5 merkins, incomplete pass = 5 burpees. 7 attempts…35 burpees. YHC was hoping to name the workout, Cam Newton or Aaron Rodgers, however, due to the inaccuracy, YHC had to go with, Cotton Davidson, the least accurate NFL QB I could find.
