Monkey Humper Jump Squat Pyramid

6 showed for EC.  Manmakers are legit.  Great way to start the weekend.  16 were there for the ME.  The plan was to travel this morning so we were going to head over to Woodcroft.  We needed a basic warm up first after a count off.

PAX headed towards Woodcroft Swim Club but wanted a stop at the shopping center.  Ok – I needed a stop there.  The first row was 10 merkins, sprint to the end of the lot for 10 burpees and plank.  We went to the next row and did 10 merkins, sprint to the end for 10 burpees and plank.(insert one of the many creative jokes here).  I dug in and we did the same again and again.  Needing a little more variety, we headed to the swim club.  I had an idea on the run over to try a new pyramid exercise.  We went with the monkey humper squat jump pyramid.  It took a little work at the start, but Assisi, the rational one in the group, helped to perfect and made it work.  It is a full monkey humper followed by a jump squat.  We went up to 10 and headed back to the shopping center to finish the pyramid.  We were done at that point and headed back to JHS.  Mary consisted of LBC, peach pickers, box cutters, and flutter kicks.  We closed out with a few announcements about safety, getting out of our comfort zones followed by Vespa taking us out in a very eloquent spoken from the heart prayer.  It truly was a great way to start the weekend.  You are a kick ass group of support.
