Misery somewhat inadvertently debuted Merkin Miercoles at Rameses last week. This week YHC added 2.25 miles of running on Tarheel Warrior Mountain to 250 merkins, hence the moniker Los Alpinistos. An SLT member who shall, of course, go unnamed promoted and then cancelled an EC run and coupon work, which may be more crawfish than fartsack (but YHC imagines that they make a repulsive combination). YHC banged out some pleasant, solitary pull-ups in the gloom for EC.

As OPEC will tell you, THWM has FOUR sections, not three. There’s the FoD, the parking lot, the hill between the gates, and the deepest darkest.
Start at the top of the FoD. Run down to the treeline, 10 merkins; run back up to where we are now, 10 merkins; run back down to the treeline, 10 merkins.
PAX repeated this pattern descending all four sections of THWM with 10-counts between sections. Then PAX made their ways back up THWM repeating the pattern in reverse for a total of 240 merkins and a f**kton of uphill running. Prancing Horse led the group in 10 more merkins to get us all to 250.
