Man Makers Maketh The Man

YHC has been wondering for a while why the same handful of people show up at The Falcon’s EC Man-makers and wanted to do something about it.  I have always enjoyed the series of exercises plus running that make up the Man-maker and felt it was a great warm up for the Main Event.  There’s not much I can do about getting people to wake up earlier, but I figured I could take the mystery out of what goes on during EC or any niggling thoughts about not being able to complete the workout.  So, I decided to introduce the PAX to man-makers during ME and show them how many revolutions they could get through and just how much energy they had left over afterwards to potentially do more.  Hopefully, this will result in having more than 3-5 PAX out to EC Man-makers moving forward!

 

Warm up:

20x Side Shuffle Hops – IC

10x Little baby Arm Circles forward and reverse – IC

10x Overhead Claps – IC

10x – Seal Claps – IC

10x Overhead Claps – IC

10x Seal Claps – IC

10x Slow Merkins – IC

10x Slow Squat – IC

 

The Thang:

  • Ricky Bobby from StartEx to CinderBlock Pile to pick up weights and carry them back to the overhang
  • The Falcon’s Man-Maker Series (3 revolutions)
    • 10x pullups
    • 30x Little Baby Crunches
    • Farmer Carry 20+ lbs (400 ft.)
    • 10x burpees
    • Run ¼ mile
    • Farmer carry 20+ lbs back to pullup area (400 ft)
  • Series of Planks plus Merkins as the last man rolled in
  • Return weights to cinderblock pile (¼ mile)
  • Run back to Startex ( ¼ mile)
