Warm up

PAX moseyed to traffic circle where they performed the YHC-named “Jacks of all Trades” (i.e., every “jack” YHC could think of at the time to do in succession): SSH x10CC, Smurf jacks x10CC, squat jacks x10SC, plank jacks x20CC, squat jacks x10SC, Smurf jacks x10XX, SSH x10CC.

The Thang

PAX partners up. As one partner performed burpees, while the other partner Bernie Sanders up the hill adjacent to the traffic circle to the nearest tree. Once the running PAX reached the tree they sprinted back to their partner. Partners flap jacked, and the performed the same exercise. Once the running partner returned, they flap jacked again and the next running PAX ran to the next farthest tree. The partners continued to switch back and forth between burpees and running, increasing the distance to Bernie at each round until they made it to the top of the hill.

Next, PAX gathered at the light posts along another adjacent street. There, PAX performed a series of traveling exercises to each street light beginning with lunges, then cheese worms, and finally gorilla walks.

Once at the next street, the PAX Paula Abduled their way to the hill leading to the bridge, using the trees to guide their way. At each “one step back,” the PAX performed 10 merkins. By the time they reached the hill to the bridge, they performed 100 total merkins.

Next, the PAX gathered at the bridge and fulfilled a longtime dream of YHC to perform an orchestrated series of plank shuffles along the rails of the bridge and bearcrawls back to the start. They PAX performed three rounds of this.

Finally, among the few that still had gas, the PAX either crabwalked their way back up hill to the start of the AO or (even more impressive) wheelbarrowed their way up the will.

Mary

Once back at the AO, the PAX realized the flag had fallen over, so they collectively performed 100 burpees. After that humiliation was over, the PAX performed the following for Mary: Russian hammer circle of fire with Boxer crunches mixed in, followed by leg lifts x30SC.
