Keepin’ it Simple

August 13, 2018

WHEN: 08/11/2018
QIC: TB
PAX: Catskill, Appomattox, Hatfield, Rebar, TB

Sometimes simple is best. So YHC planned to keep it simple, but hopefully still intense.

The warmup:

SSH (25), Good Mornings (11), Willie Mays Hayes (10), Mountain Climbers (15), Smurf Jacks (15)

The main event:

The PAX began a running tour of campus. A timer was set to go off every five minutes. Whenever the timer went off the PAX did 5 burpees, 10 merkins, 15 WWIIs (or flutter kicks, each PAX choice), and 20 squats, then plank or low squat hold until all PAX finish. Ran some more until the timer went off again. PAX completed 8 rounds, with the last round of running being a gratuitous use of the few stairs available near Hooker Fields. (For the curious: PAX set off up South Rd from Hooker fields, went past Pittsboro and took a right on Ransom, right on Cameron following it as it becomes Country Club, then right on South Rd again to arrive back at Hooker Fields using the last round to run back up and down the staircases between the field and the sidewalk)

Once back at Hooker Fields:

To the big tire: Dips (15) Derkins (5, YHC’s kryptonite), Dips (15)

Plank: Right arm high, right foot on top of left foot, hip dips (1o), then repeato on the left side. Then, right arm high again, right foot on top of left foot, right leg lifts (10), then repeato on the left side.

Mary:

Russian Hammers (15), Plank Jacks (15), LBCs (15)

Dealers choice: WWIIs (15), Box Cutters (15), Merkins (10), Boat Canoe
