YHC was tired this AM. A stressful week and each night’s typical restlessness left me with a nice foggy brain. I typically design overcomplicated beatdowns, but with that tired, brain fog this AM I decided to keep it simple. At the same time, I knew that Griswold was Qing The Mustang less than a mile away and he’d lay down the law. With that in mind, I came up with a simple and seemingly interminable plan.

The Thang
Mosey to the south entrance to The Wall:
- Jog back up to the parking lot
- At each tree, performing squats, ascending by 2
- There were enough trees to get in 2,4,6…18,20 squats
Back at the parking lot, YHC designated 3 corners. As a collective we will jog to each corner and perform the exercises together.
- Merkin: Single Count
- Dip: Single Count
- LBC: Single Count
- Start at 20, descend the ladder to 1
The first 5 sets of a descending ladder are brutal. The next 5 are theoretically easier but feel just as brutal. The last 10 are, arguably, refreshing. The PAX performed admirably, and we even had a few minutes left for Mary.

COT
Change is painful. Growth is painful. Staying in the same state of being/mind/body/whatever stagnates and atrophies a person. Don’t be afraid to work through some pain to become a better version of yourself. Aye!
