PAX: Mate’, Slug, Big Kat, Elwood, Appomattox, Foghorn Leghorn, EZ Pass, FNG The Camel, One Dimension

YHC had only discovered the greatness of West End recently, but has enjoyed it so much that he figured he might as well Q it. Assembling in the gloom, 10 PAX treated themselves to the following kind of all over the place routine:

Warmup:

SSH (20), Imperial Walkers (10), Willy Mays Hays (10), Windmills (10), Burpees (10, OYO).

Mosey on to the parking garage, starting on the bottom-most ramp, standing long jumps to the next landing, then planked it out until all PAX finished.

Lunge walk up the next two ramps, then bows to toes plank until all PAX finished. From bows to toes to regular plank, then alternating right and left hand high, then low plank hold (10 count).

Next, PAX partnered up. One partner runs up three ramps and then back down the stairwell, other partner does WWIIs, then switch. Cumulative 300 WWIIs.

Then PAX formed two lines for two variations of Bear Crawl Indian Runs. First ramp: PAX plank it out in the line and the last PAX bear crawls to the front, repeat, up the ramp to the first landing. Second ramp: no planking, all PAX bear crawl the whole time, last PAX has to bear crawl sprint to the front. At the landing, wall sits for a few counts of ten.

Finally, backwards run up two ramps for some recovery, then mosey back down the stair well.*

Mosey to Weaver Street Market. Half the PAX hit the benches for dips (15), while the other half did merkins (15), then switched, then repeated. Then derkins all around (2x 5).

Mosey to the intersection of Weaver and Main. Each PAX claimed some wall, then step ups: 10 each leg, then repeat.

Mosey to the ramp next to Cat’s Cradle. PAX grabbed some bar for underhand rows (10), and overhand rows (10). A bit of a break with some wall sits (starting at the far end first PAX counted 1, then next counted 1, 2, third counted 1, 2, 3, etc… all down the line). Then back to the bars for a repeat of underhand and overhand rows. Then a couple rounds of balls to the wall.

Mosey back to the AO for some Mary:

LBCs (20), Flutter Kicks (15), then started around the circle for some:

Heels to Heaven (10), Nolan Ryans (10 each side), Russian Hammers (15)

and finally a 5 Merkin Ring of Fire.

Announcements:

Thin Blue Line needs Qs! Great site, lots of options, and it even starts at 7 so you can sleep in!

Welcome FNG The Camel!

*YHC learned this morning that it is a faux pas to start a parking deck and NOT finish at the very top where the fresh air and sunshine is, and he promises never to make this mistake again.
