The Bull City got hit by some snow and freezing rain on Sunday. Main roads were mostly clear, side roads were in rough shape, and of course the threat of black ice was present. YHC has a car that can handle the conditions, so decided to go ahead with the workout for any other PAX that could make it out. The initial plan was to utilize Rock Quarry Park, but the city decided to start the next phase of improvements to the park the week prior. Instead, we met up in the parking lot of Durham County Memorial Stadium. Luckily, it’s being used as a drive thru testing site, so enough of the parking lot was free of ice, so we could park.
We circled up on the lawn instead of on the icy parking lot.
