I used my first Q to give a little bit of my backstory, told through workout routines of course. It was a very high altitude synopsis but went as follows:
Warm Up
SSH (25x)
Willie Mays Hays (10x)
Merkins (10x)
Little Baby Arm Circles (15x, cadence count) and reverse it
¼ Mile Jog
The Thang
Though F3 has dubbed me Carlton, my surname played perfectly into completing a four corner approach of Aiken Legs. PAX completed the following exercises without break before running to the next corner to rinse and repeat:
– Squats (20x)
– Lunges (20x)
– Split Jacks (20x, cadence count)
– Jump Squats (20x)
Next, we moved on to paying respect to where I grew up, Philadelphia, by completing a Wilt Chamberlain, in tribute to his 100 point game there. (Yes, I know it happened in Hershey, PA but it was for the Philadelphia Warriors so I’ll allow it.) PAX partnered up to complete the following exercises:
– LBCs (100x)
– Merkins (100x)
– Flutter Kicks (100x, cadence count)
– Shoulder Taps (100x)
Lastly, I grew up playing ice hockey so one 75 yard length of Apolo Ohno seemed in order to wrap up the morning.
Mary
– World War 2’s (20x)
– Russian Hammers (20x, cadence count)
