Early Easter Egg Hunt

Warm up

  • SSH x 75
  • High knees x 20
  • Butt kicks x 20
  • Chinook x 20
  • WMH x 10
  • Stretch

Main Event

  • Grab one rock (AKA easter egg) per person, mosey to wall by the shelter
  • Step ups with rocks x 10, then wall jumps x 10, repeat x 20 and x 30
  • Carry rocks to field, Count off 1, 2 to split into two groups
  • Ones “hide” rock-easter-eggs at midfield while twos wait in plank position. Each round alternate who “hides” rocks.
  • When ones return, they resume plank while Twos travel to find a rock-easter-egg (hope it’s not Cardiac’s rock…), perform exercise with the rock-easter-egg, then re-hide rock-easter-eggs. Great practice for the real thing in a few weeks.
  • Travel/exercise combos:
  • Gorilla walk, Lion Kings x 15
  • Bear crawl, overhead press x 15
  • Crab walk, curls x 15
  • Side shuffle, jump squats with rock x 15
  • Walking lunges, bent over rows x 15
  • Sprint, triceps extensions x 15
  • Everyone bunny hop to the midfield, retrieve rocks, and take them back to where they belong

  • Boat/Canoe ring of fire
  • Box cutters (led by Grunge)
  • Superman (led by Cardiac who counts too slow)
  • Heels to heaven (led by Boucher ’cause it’s his fave exercise)
