Dry land surprise

Driving up to the AO, Hickory relayed to me how difficult his dry land training was last week for swim. After hearing him relay the details, I told him that I was handing over 1/2 of the workout to him: SURPRISE!

The Thang

Hickory informed us that we would be doing circuits consisting of the following movements:

  • 10 Burpees
  • 30 Jump Squats
  • 30 Jump Lunges
  • 40 Sit ups
  • 40 Heels to Heaven
  • Parking lot mosey

3 rounds of that was more than enough, considering most all of us were suffering from the affects of too much food and/or libation from Thanksgiving.

Don’t be a glutton. Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the season of excess. Consumption and consumerism is drilled into us from innumerable vectors. Be thankful for what you have, but looks for opportunities to use some of the excess in your life to help others.
