  • WMH x 10
  • IW x 10
  • Catalina Wine Mixer X3…got to do these on grass or not do em at all

THE THANG

  • Partner up an one partner grab a cinder block for the dont drop the cookie routine. This was an old high school workout because 45s were always called cookies where I come from. Lots of mumblechatter about how a good Q should have had the blocks out and ready (yeah yeah yeah)
  • One partner starts by running to end of road near bball court. Once he gets there he turns around and runs back to partner. While runner in running, other partner is walking with cinder block over head. If block drops to eye level, he must stop and do merkins until partner arrives. Once partner arrives, flapjack and continue routine until cookie makes it way all the way to end of road.
  • Before making are way back to the AO some core work. One partner does leg lifts to 15. other does standing ab twists until leg lifts are complete. Switch and repeat
  • No one dropped cookie on way here so on way back every 4 steps with cinder block do a squat. This seemed like an eternity and lots of mumblechatter wondering if the first runners just ran home
  • Once complete, return cinder block and make way to small pile of bricks for shoulder routine. ALL IC, ALL x15 (because a 15 count is the best count)
    • OH claps
    • Seal Claps
    • Moraccan nightclubs

BOM

So today (or this week) marks 8 years since by dad passed. Facebook was kind enough to remind me of some of the struggles I had that week but I also had time to give some thought this weekend about all the cool memories of my dad I have. My dad had a knack for doing a lot of interesting stuff but man, am I glad he did. It gives me a chance now to remember those things and smile, laugh, and roll my eyes. Hopefully this workout routine will do the same for you next time you see a cookie a cinder block or the number 15. And remember, if your kid asks you where something is this week. Answer “Up your butt, and to the left” Until next time. Aye!
