Warm-Up

  • SSH
  • Imperial Walkers
  • OH/Seal Clap Combo
  • Slow Merkins
  • WMH
  • Pax Choice

 

Main Event.  Mosey to Parking Lot.

Modified Paula Abdul (Strength Conditioning)

  • Bear Crawl 2 spaces. 10 Merkins.  Crab Walk back 1 space.
  • Bear Crawl 4 spaces. 10 Merkins.  Crab Walk back 2 spaces.
  • Bear Crawl 6 spaces. 10 Merkins.  Crab Walk back 3 spaces.
  • Bear Crawl 8 spaces. 10 Merkins.  Crab Walk back 4 spaces.
  • Bear Crawl 10 spaces. 10 Merkins. Crab Walk back 5 spaces.

 

Parking Lot Line Tracers (Agility Conditioning)

Split into two teams; one on each side of parking lot.  From same start line as first round of conditioning, perform parking lot line tracers (always facing the curb; i.e., sprint towards curb, side shuffle across space to next line, backwards to end of line, side shuffle to next line, sprint forward to curb, etc.) across length of parking lot.  Once reach the end, 5 x Burpees and then repeat tracers back to starting point.  5 more burpees.  10 count, and then do it again.

 

More Strength Conditioning (Elevens)

Mosey to benches.  10 Derkins & 1 Dip, then 9 Derkins & 2 Dips, and so on and so forth down to 1 Derkin & 10 Dips.

 

Sprint Relays (Speed Conditioning)

Form 4 lines at base of parking lot.  At Nightshift’s request, those not running did burpees while waiting.

  • Sprint entire loop of parking lot. Upon return, next man does the same.
  • Sprint down and back entire length of parking lot.
  • Sprint down and back half-length of parking lot.

Disclaimer: I honestly can’t remember if we did this cycle a second time.  I should probably consider Slug’s recommendation to incorporate Mental Conditioning into future workouts.

We are all blessed.  Health, family, friends, devilishly handsome good looks (which, granted, can also be a curse).  But kidding aside, each one of us is blessed.  At times, it may be hard to be cognizant of our own respective blessings, given the invariable ‘white noises’ of life.  Take time to reflect.  Be grateful.  Be good.
