Chubb’s Hill Workout

Intro: An excellent showing of 18 PAX this morning. YHQ decided to use this as an opportunity to get in a hill workout for Race Across Durham marathon training. The PAX got to know Chubb’s Hill very well. It was a fitting tribute to Chubbs as he nears the end of bachelorhood.

 

Warm Up:

SSH x 20

Imperial Walkers x 20

GM x 10

WMH x 10

Mountain climbers 20X

Burpees 5X

 

The Thang:

We moseyed to the bottom of Chubb’s Hill.

Jacob’s Extension Ladder- a Jacob’s ladder with merkins and the top of the ladder and jump squats at the bottom of the ladder. The ladder got taller every other trip. The top of the ladder for 10 merkins and 9 merkins was the 2nd streetlight. The top of the ladder for 8 merkins and 7 merkins was the 3rd streetlight. This pattern continued until we got to 1 merkin at the 6th streetlight.

For the trip back up to the top of Chubb’s Hill we backwards ran to the 3rd streetlight, then forward to the top.

5X tuck jumps then we moseyed back to front parking lot
