The University celebrated 100 years of the Forest Theater this week. The first event held at that site reportedly was a celebration of the 300th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death and the University built a permanent stone amphitheater in 1919.

The Forest Theater is a really cool space and I’ve enjoyed some entertaining shows there and I’ve suffered alot there by a number of Qs including Subprime, Adolphus, Food Lion, Dunphy, CoCo and others…and thought I would share some suffering of my own design.

We started with a mosey with a kettle bell from the Rameses parking lot to the parking lot off of Country Club Road and that long slow incline always kills me…Our goal was to do a 100 of everything we did.

25 Merkins

Each pax was responsible for getting in 100 kettlebell swings and 25 trips up the steps.
We broke it down so that each Pax did two sets of 50 kettlebell swings and then would rotate in to the stair climbs.

Once completed, we did 25 more merkins then moseyed back to the startex, rotating the kettlebell carry.

To maintain the symmetry and get our hundred reps in, we got 25 merkins in and then completed the following:

The 2019 Bull is upon you! 10/26/19. The Bull is a 3-4 hour event that will incorporate all 3 Fs in F3. We will meet at 0630 at the gravel lot across from Mellow Mushroom at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. We will start official activities at 0645. You will be put into one of 4 squads. This year we have a rucking division for you ruckers out there, a speedy Jack Rabbit division for you @spooky types. Finally, we have two regular divisions for the rest of you.
