When I rolled into the Hillandale Elementary parking lot, one lonely car was there, with one PAX that was crushing a solo EC Ruck, hat tip to Chubbs. Once 0530 hit, we had 17 PAX that were ready in the gloom with the sun nearly up. Here’s the rundown:
Warm Up
SSH x 25
IW x 12
Hillbillies x 12
Parking Loop Run
Good Mornings x 12
WMH x 12
Parking Loop Run then mosey to the bus lot
The Thang
I’d love to take credit for formulating this workout, but I have to give credit where it is due. My Little Pony Q’d this workout in my second or third week of F3, and I thought I was going to die. In retrospect it was a great time that generated a good amount of mumblechatter, and pushed the fellas. We did “bet on yourself”, a workout where the Q calls an exercise, and the next person in line, says the number of reps the PAX have to complete before he gets back from running a specific route. On this day the route was around the islands that flank the bus queue. If over 50% of the PAX finish before the runner returns, he does it again. If the runner beats the PAX the next guy goes. I wish I could recall the exercises and the wagers in order, but I cannot, here are the exercises we did though (and in no particular order), I did try to call them so we worked upper body, core, then legs:
Makhtar N’diayes
J-Los
Homer to Marge
Monkey Humpers
Hand Release Merkins
Burpees
WW2
Mountain Climber
Peter Parkers
Carolina Dry Docks
Jump Lunges (Nice work Sal Pal, the PAX got him, but cheers to him for pushing himself!)
Merkins
Crucible Merkins
Wide Grip Merkins
Turkish Get Up
Bobby Hurleys
Johnny Dramas
Overhead Claps
LBC
The PAX had some great mumblechatter throughout, and pushed themselves. Once we hit 0608, we moseyed back to the start.
Mary
After all of the individual focus for the morning, I wanted to bring the PAX back together for some Ring of Fire.

Superman x 6 count Ring of Fire
Star Plank x 7 count Ring of Fire
