YHC’s 2.0s aren’t yet of school age so it wasn’t until too late that I realized the last day of school was last Friday and I should have planned a ‘School’s Out For Summer’ themed Q for today. Instead, I went with the tried-and-true ‘Do Hard Exercises While We Grin and Bear it’ theme.

With the workout complete, it was time to name our FNG. He told us where he was from, he told us what he did for a living, he told us various other pieces of information that all should have been useful in giving him an F3 name. Despite the fact that nothing he said along the way sounded even remotely like the words ‘Bath Salts’, Zook somehow managed to blurt out, “All I heard was ‘bath salts’.” And with that, our FNG had a name. Welcome @BathSalts!
YHC attended a family wedding over the weekend and two things stuck out to me. The first was that in addition to the bride and groom professing their own wedding vows, everyone in the audience recommitted to their own vows. This got YHC thinking about how we should recognize the need to recommit to other things in our lives as well. The second was the welcoming of a new member into our family. Let’s also remember to be welcoming to those we meet, both inside and outside of F3. Aye!
