Mosey over to center circle on turf feed for YHC’s explanation of our contest.
11 cones were positioned on center line and we divided up into two teams.
A 10-minute timer was set and the two teams sprinted off in opposite directions to the top of the goal box on their side of the field. Socially distanced, each PAX completed 4 different exercises with reps of 10, 20, 30, 40, then returned to mid field with a designated mode of travel. Once you reached midfield you knocked a cone over onto your opponent’s side of the field and then sprint back to your goal box to start the circuit over again. At the end of 10 minutes (with cones going back and forth multiple times), the team with fewest cones on their side of the field was declared the winner of that round.
Round 1: 10 Psycho “T” merkins, 20 dry docks, 30 shoulder taps (both arms for 1), 40 overhead press, and bear crawl to midfield. Team 1 took this round
Round 2: 10 Bobby Hurleys, 20 lunges (each leg counts as 1), 30 monkey humpers, 40 air squats and duck walk to midfield. Team 2 took this round
Round 3 – speed round only 7 minutes on the clock: 10 burpees, 20 box cutters, 30 hammers, 40 lbc’s. This round ended in a tie 5 to 5, with 1 lonesome cone going unnoticed and remaining perfectly upright on the center line.
Very fitting that we ended at in a dead heat in honor of the Carolina – Duke rivalry.
No announcements or prayer request. YHC took us out.
