YHC took delight in informing The Missus on Saturday it was the first weekend since mid-May he had NOTHING on his calendar for the weekend and would sleep in his own bed for the next nine nights. Thus he was delighted to get back into the swing at Kenan take the Q for a long overdue beatdown.
The Thang:
Warmup SSH x 20, IW x 10, Willie Mays Hays x 10, Arm Circles forward/reverse x 10 each, Carolina Dry Docks x 10.
Mosey into Kenan Stadium and down to field. Walking lunges 60 yards from end zone to mid-field. Then circle up for Merkin Pyramid, total 100 working in Diamond, Wide-Grip and Three-Stop for variety.
Then spread out, one PAX per aisle leading into the stands. For the next 25 minutes, we ran the steps, up one aisle and down the next, doing five burpees on the field before moving to the next aisle.
Tongues properly wagging, we then gathered in one corner of the field for Mary: LBCs; Homer-to-Marge with one-leg variations; Heels to Heavens, WWIIs, V-Ups, Bows-to-Toes Holds, Parker Peters and one lap run around the field to finish it off.
An excellent start to a holiday week.
