In honor of Robert Nesta Marley’s birthday yesterday we got baked at The Jag to the tunes of the late reggae musician, ladies man, and habitual ganja toker. Here’s how it went down:
Warmup: side shuffle hop, imperial walker, arm circles, willy mays hays, michael phelps
The Thang:
Dora: 100 pushups, 200 WW2’s, 300 body squats. The Dora took forever it seemed, and we still had some block work ahead of us, so we stopped once every group was at 200 body squats.
Blockwork: YHC had 24 block exercises planned for this workout but due to time I had to limit to the following:
10x Romanian deadlift / Oil derrick’s per leg (holding coupon)
15x kettle bell /block swings
10 x one legged homer (using the block) per leg
15 dips (cadence count)
10 Yanni (?) merkins (cadence count)
15x deadlifts
10x cadence count bicep curls
10x cadence count overhead press
10x cadence count mountain climbers (using block).
Mary: 30 cadence count flutter kicks.
Announcements, Prayers, COT:
Whiskey tasting coming up, Cloud buster event, and don’t forget about coffeteria at McD’s.
YHC took us out by expressing gratitude for the support and fellowship from these men, especially during the past two months as I’ve been recovering from a number of injuries.
