Swapped Qs with Misery at his request, so the PAX got about 1,000 percent less running than they might’ve, on account of #CosmoDontRun. Three PAX got in their running as EC, while four others did the classic manmakers.

20 of us gathered on a brisk morning, YHC’s kind of weather. Standard warmup, then moseyed to the cinderblocks and gathered with said cinderblocks at the bottom of the hill. Partnered up for some Dora-style action.

One partner carried block uphill either overhead or via farmer carry while other partner exercised. (Length of hill trek was adjusted down as we proceeded in the interest of time.) Each partner set completed the following:

  • 50 blockees
  • 100 block merkins (SC)
  • 150 swings
  • 200 curls
  • 250 rows
  • 300 flutter kicks SC

At some point during this time, the SpaceX shuttle was spotted overhead, but YHC, Grandpa Ninja and assuming others were too busy with blocks to notice. Oh well.

Most if not all PAX were finished up by 0610, so we returned blocks and moseyed back for

COT

Botched announced coffeeteria at Bean Traders, 10 attended. YHC took us out with a prayer but failed to project loudly enough over the passing traffic and had to shout a second Amen to let the PAX know it was over. Hopefully the Lord still heard.

MOLESKIN

Told the PAX this was adapted from one of YHC’s recent Eagle Qs, which was a little overly ambitious in terms of numbers of reps and exercises. Today went more smoothly. Live and learn. T-claps to all PAX for tackling this grind with hard work and good humor, and T-claps to my partner in crime today, Yurt. Final thought: OPEC and Botched should not be allowed to partner up. Pretty sure they both did at least an extra 300 flutter kicks each while they waited for the rest of us to finish. Will be sure to make that adjustment next time, aye!
