It has been a while since YHC has been to the Wall. With the recent weather, it has been easy to label it Fartsack Friday and seal it with a drink or two Thursday night. So to get myself going this week I signed up to Q and was in bed by 9. Plan was to try to knock out “the Millennial” workout with the Zook standard question of the day being “Have you ever been mistaken for someone famous”. See details of both below

BoM:
Some PAX have already heard this story but this past Sunday my son Skyler got to pitch in his first baseball game. Its 9U baseball so set expectations accordingly. For example, Homegrown berry’s son struck out I think 6 in one inning in the same game but the catcher kept dropping the third strike. Anyways he came in in a tight spot, team was down 23-2 (so not really) but he did awesome. He struck out 2, walked one, a few hits where kids couldn’t make the play in the field but also faced one kid that just absolutely crushed one. I was proud of him but also worried how he might take it. well after the game, the two questions he asks me are 1) Dad, did you see how far that kids hit it against me? It was awesome, and 2) So did we lose? It totally cracked me up but gave me some perspective that the kid is really just enjoying the moment. I hope he can continue that it it rubs off on his dad. To many times I’m just way to anxious and don’t find as much joy in the little things as I did when I was a kid. This may be a struggle for a lot of us but hopefully we can all take some time and enjoy those little things. Until next time Aye!
