The Main Event
We moseyed over to the bus lane circle and lined up for some Ricky-Bobby around the loop. The last PAX counted to 30 before sprinting to the front and calling “halt!”.
Using the following workouts we performed 7 rounds adding one exercise each round. And running Ricky-Bobby in between rounds with a 30-count delay as above.
Example: round 1 = ex#1; Rick-Bob; round 2 = ex#2, ex#1; Rick-Bob; round 3 = ex#3, ex#2, ex#1… etc.
- 5 Burpees OYO
- Merkins x 10 IC
- Lunges x 15 IC
- SSH x 20 IC
- Squats x 25 IC
- Overhead Claps x 30 IC
- Flutter kicks x 35 IC
Between rounds 6 and 7 we did 4 rounds of Ricky-Bobby (as above) but with 5 OYO Burpees, only, each time so that everyone had a chance to feel the wind at their faces.
When you Ricky-Bobby in this way between an escalating workout, you are doing something called Bump Drafting.
