Plan: Excessive bear crawl/merkins, Four corners, then a Spooky special “Fireworks” game. Two teams were set to hear the fireworks but as FoghornLeghorn later commented “it fizzled”. Get ready for the 4th:
Warmup
30 IC SSH
20 IC squats
10 IC forward arm-circles
10 IC backward arm-circles
10 slow merkins
The Thang
Bear crawl – Merkins
Mosey to the long circle path. Bear crawl the circle, stop for five merkins at every boulder. Half way switch to lunge walk for a short break. Then resume bear crawl and five merkins at every boulder.
Four Corners
* Corner #1 – twenty merkins.
* Corner #2 – ten jump-squats.
* Corner #3 – five burpees
* Corner #4 – ten v-ups
Sprint when going north or south. Bear crawl when going east or west.
Repeat two rounds.
 
“Fireworks” Game
*Pax were split into two teams. Team 1 defends the hockey goal on the north end. Team 2 defends the hockey goal on the east end. Pax run to retrieve a tennis ball from a bucket, perform five-merkins before taking a ball. Pax then try to throw the ball from no closer than half-court into the other team”s goal.
Pax may stop a ball thrown at their goal then then must do two burpees on the sideline.
The sound of fireworks getting launched are played at random. Pax in the middle of the field when a firework explodes must return to the sideline for five penalty burpees. But, the bluetooth speaker (an Amazon Echo Tap) decided not to connect. Alexa gave us a bunch of excuses and we almost threw her in the dumpster. Luckily we switched to plan B.
For every ball scored on a team, five burpees per ball.
