Vortex 4/2 WOD

Four PAX started off the morning with a little EC run down Weaver Dairy to the roundabout and back up (completed 1.5x) – Elf, Harbaugh, Nightshift, and Beano.

WARM-UP – SSH, Good Mornings, Carolina Dry Docks, Lunges, Overhead Claps, Arm Circles, Last-minute Stretches OYO

MAIN EVENT – The Main event this morning consisted of a pretty straightforward WOD (workout of the day) that was completed in pairs.

6 sets of the following exercises (10 reps each set, using a cinderblock or KB for the first three exercises)

  • Push Press
  • Squats
  • Bicep Curls
  • Burpees

In between each of the six sets, each person in a pair would take turns farmer carrying two cinders or KBs the length of the soccer field. Needless to say, this took a good bit of the 45 minutes.

At the conclusion of the WOD above, the PAX split into three groups, and the members of each group collectively worked together to clean and toss a sandbag the length of the soccer field and back to start.
