The site Qs of TBL and TBR decided on a convergence several weeks ago. Unfortunately, Bronze and Mueller were a combination of injured and OOT. I did not plan on this being the conclusion of Birthday Hell Week. It was predestined. Just to mention it, I have tried unsuccessfully to make Birthday Hell Week a tradition. It used to be somewhat of a custom to do so.
The original slate of Qs was supposed to be Bronze, Mueller, and YHC. Once it became clear that they could not make it, I immediately reached out to the famous Newt of the 'Fig Newton' merkin. Graciously Newt agreed, and we set to create a plan. Newt took warm-up and included movement action such as bear crawls and hops. He put together a tough burpee/merkin EMOM too.
I took the second half. I labeled my part the Christmas Birthday WOD:
Lunge Walk across Hooker and run back (Caveat, if you heard the song Run, Run Rudolph) everyone must run a lap. We did this several times. The PAX loved it, especially Bobbi.
One we returned from a movement, we performed 6 burpees (DOB is 12/6), 43 merkins (Age 43), and 25 bonnies (December 25); the other movements included bear crawl, crawl bear, bernie sanders, etc. Various PAX helped to count the exercises. Christmas music was playing the background thanks to Spam's kind donation of a powerful speaker. We enjoyed The March of the Toys, Lou Rawl's Merry Christmas Baby, Christmas jazz, a couple of versions of My Favorite Things, and of course Run, Run Rudolph.
Pre-destination:
An FNG was brought out. For months, I had planned to name my next FNG @hawthorne&wood. The only requirement that I needed was for the PAX to respond that they had an affinity for food. Indeed, Moses aka Hawthorne, affirmed his destiny to be named after the best restaurant in Chapel Hill. Flappy was a philosophy major at Chapel Hill and probably found more virtue in phenomenology than the Reformation theologians. The predestination of Calvin was probably too stodgy and dull when compared to Husserl. This is America, and Winthrop will always win!

Notes…Bitcoin's former colleague at Sports Illustrated passed away yesterday covering the World Cup. Quarterly Report is happening at CJ in January. Coffeeteria had many Starskys today, including Singlet, Quicken, TB and John, John, Red October, etc. It was John, John's birthday. We are currently tabulating the donation for the Holiday Donation Drive. Thanks to TBL for turning in great numbers.
