I started this week-long tradition of leading a workout each day during my birthday week. It was an unofficial tradition in F3 at one time. I believe it still is among a few PAX.
This time, I chose to lead six consecutive workouts from Monday to Saturday. The patterns for the sites selected are different each year. Kenan has a rep for being a tough AO, so I wanted to continue to honor that. This year I wanted to focus on simple but brutal workouts. Today was easy to plan.
Warm-up: 43 SSH IC, 10 burpees
ME: 40 rounds of 6 burpees with a movement after you complete the six burpees. We ran from the 50-yard line to the endzone several times. We bernied and ran back; we bear crawled, lung walked, etc.
In all, we completed 250 burpees and ran well over a mile, I imagine. I don't own a GPS watch.
COT: I did some bragging for Va. Tech. Ultimately, we had a great time with some very tough dudes. Aye!
HGB, Red, Uzi, Catskill, and me for coffee at Caribou. Love these dudes! They're an inspiration!
It's on to The Jag tomorrow!
