This morning was Assisi's last Q before leaving for England. I'm posting this as a goodbye gift. I'm sure Green Acres wants to ask if I'll post his BBs. Let me make this absolutely clear. I will post every BB for a HIM's final Q before moving to England. You can hold me to that!
How's about some Assisi trivia. Do you know why he got his name? He told me that he though F3 was a Christian organization when he came out. When they asked him to share about himself, he gave a testimonial of Christian faith journey. Way to cut through the small talk brother!
It is highly probably that Assisi named me. My V post was Vortex. I don't know for sure who all was there, but Assisi was a faithful site Q for a long time and I expect it was him. There was 4 guys. It was cold. We bear crawled across the entire field. I was not coming back. Months past and I was bored lifting weight by myself and began reading the BBs. I figure I would just integrate their workout with mine to try something new. The BBs made little sense though. What's SSH, BWS, or Merkins anyhow? I'm grateful to all of you who take your time to post BBs. I may not have returned if not for y'all. In fact, my VQ I reran an Assisi Q that I found in a BB. Now you know why I harp on BBs. After my second post which was months later, Vortex became a staple. I began posting regularly and Assisi took leave to visit…. wait for it…. England. It was at least a month. Upon his return he said he heard of how I stewarded the site and asked if I would take his site Q responsibilities. Yes-I'm paraphrasing from my memory which can be imprecise, but it sound like something he would say right? Thoughtful, considerate, and encouraging. Thank you Assisi for the impact you've had on me and countless others. Churham's loss is the UK's gain.
